New York, New York March 1, 2021— Alvarez Keko Salazar Productions and Poseidon Theatre Company’s bold interactive online experience is releasing a new block of tickets to X the Experience. Now running through Saturday, May 22, X the Experience features the script writing debut of Strange Loop star Jason Veasey and is directed by Aaron Salazar (The Cooping Theory 1969). Set in a not-too-distant utopian/dystopian future controlled by The WE, where individuals are forced to drop all cultural identities for the ‘greater good.’
You have been recruited as a trainee for The WE. As your first assignment, you have to determine if two members of the community remain “non-compliant.” Guided by The WE communicating with you through WhatsApp, your actions determine if they will be allowed back into the collective or “disappeared.”

Jason Veasey (writer) is a New York City-based actor and writer recently seen in the acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning A Strange Loop at Playwrights Horizon by Michael R. Jackson. Aaron Salazar (creator/director) is a New York City award-winning theatre director-producer who specializes in immersive and experiential work. Salazar’s artistic home is Poseidon Theatre Company, of which he is the Producing Artistic Director and Founder. He enters into his second decade in New York with his most recent work, The Cooping Theory 1969: Who Killed Edgar Allan Poe? an immersive paranormal experience at RPM Underground. His work has been featured in The New York Times, New York Post, New York Daily News, The Wall Street Journal, Time Out New York (Best Immersive Theatre in NYC/Top 13 Best Halloween Shows 2019), and received the title of “Best Immersive Shows & Experiences of 2019” from No Proscenium and won Best Environmental Immersion Award 2019 for the U.S. from Immersion Nation. Previous work with Poseidon Theatre Company includes Antigone and BitterSweet at The Cell Theatre, where the company is currently in residence. He is thrilled to begin his journey as Executive Director of Alvarez Keko Salazar Productions’ current works included the For F**k’s Sake a theatre podcast aka “4FS Podcast”, Drama: an aural experience and audio fiction series.
