Sustainable Conversations #5
Sustainable Conversations #5: Racism in America
Monday, January 25 | 7pm EST | Free

Online via Zoom:

Our fifth installment of Sustainable Conversations, led by Helena-Joyce Wright, is coming up on Monday and boy, do we have a lot to talk about. It’s a brand new era in this country! Please join us for some real, honest talk in a place where you can share your experiences or ask questions you may have been afraid to ask before. These talks are attended by a wonderful group of EAG Members and friends, and conversations like this are allowing us to get to know each other on an even deeper level. It’s important, and we hope you can join us!

Free; RSVP required.

#TurnleysTurns

Now until Friday, Jan. 29th
TurnleysTurns (named after late Broadway performer, EAG member, and Eaglet contributor Peggy Turnley) is the label we use when we are promoting performance news from EAG members. We know many of you have been lighting up the interweb with Zoom performances, offering solo shows outdoors, or extending your talents to the voiceover world. If you’ve got news, we want to hear it!

Email office@actorsguild.org with your name, the name of the project, the platform (like Zoom or YouTube), the date(s) of the performance, and maybe a link where folks can RSVP for the show or catch an “on-demand” performance. We’ll try to give you a shout-out in an upcoming issue of The Eaglet!

The Masked Selfie
Now until Friday, Jan. 29th

The first Eaglet issue of 2021 is fast approaching, and we want to feature ALL OF US on the cover!

For those who are new to EAG, The Eaglet is our thrice-yearly newsletter that showcases our organization’s achievements, features stories and pictures of our activities, and (see #TurnleysTurns) highlights theatrical accomplishments submitted by our EAG members.

So if you wish, please email your best photo of you wearing a mask to jamie@actorsguild.org by Friday, January 29th, and we may include it on the front page. Thank you, and thank you to those who have already sent one in!

If you are experiencing financial crisis, please reach out to karen@actorsguild.org or call 212-685-2927.
