The Broadway Advocacy Coalition is proud to share Broadway VS, a celebration of two of Broadway’s most legendary names to raise funds for the next generation of BIPOC leadership in the theater community. Tuesday night at 7 pm ET, we’re honoring the iconic careers of the inimitable André De Shields and Lillias White. The evening will feature song selections from their expansive Broadway and film careers, as well as conversations between the two beloved Broadway stars – and all hosted by BAC co-founder Amber Iman. All proceeds from the evening benefit the next generation of BIPOC theatrical leaders through the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship and Broadway Advocacy Coalition’s ongoing initiatives to support and empower artist activists.
