There are over 33 million unemployment claims since the pandemic began. What is the current global outlook for economic trade? What is the financial situation in the artistic community? What is the role of philanthropy? What is the take of the artists and theater organizations? Please join Jason Benowitz, Senior Portfolio Manager of Roosevelt Investments; Raz Golden, theater director; and Anna Campbell, Senior Program Officer of Howard Gilman Foundation, to breakdown the current situation in the wake of this pandemic. Facilitated by Mei Ann Teo.

Arnie Burton will read an excerpt from Samuel Hunter’s Lewiston.
Michael Early
will read an excerpt from Timon of Athens.

New Songs Now In Your Living Room

For the past five years, we have produced New Songs Now with Rosalind Productions, as there is something really unique about spending time hearing songwriters share new material and speak about their songs in this informal and intimate way. Ironically, it has always felt so intimate that we have told our audiences in our curtain speech to imagine that we are all in the artists’ living rooms.  Well now we literally are!  We are so grateful to all of these artists for courageously sharing of themselves and their work, via Rattlestick’s YouTube Channel.

Community Conversation
Life as a Student During COVID-19

Led by Rattlestick interns this conversation will create a space for student voices to be heard during this stressful time. As students in the arts navigating the challenges of remote learning, social life, and home life, our current and former interns, Jessie Sabatino (Senior at CUNY Hunter), Amanda Calvin (Sophomore at Wagner College), and Sabrina Yvellez (Sophomore at Hamilton College) will share their unique perspectives during this transition and open the floor to student participants to discuss their personal experiences.
