I was so looking forward to this production of Cyrano. Peter Dinklage is a fine actor who does not have to be working anywhere. He is a worker bee. Even his many talents, however, could not lift this production up. The design was brilliant, but the script and direction were odd. Nothing quite fit, and I remained unengaged.
