The cast of the new Broadway-bound musical Hamilton — now playing a sold-out run at The Public Theatre through May 3 — salutes members of the original cast of A CHORUS LINE following the performance of HAMILTON on Thursday, April 16, which marked the 40th anniversary of the opening night A CHORUS LINE at The Public.

A CHORUS LINE transferred to Broadway, opening at the Shubert Theater on July 25, 1975, where it ran for 15 years, winning countless awards including the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, HAMILTON — directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler — is the acclaimed new musical about America’s founding father Alexander Hamilton.
HAMILTON begins previews on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theater (246 W. 46 St.) on July 13 prior to its official opening night August 6.  www.hamiltononbroadway.com
